Helene Kröller-Müller was a great admirer of Vincent van Gogh, and purchased this famous painting for her art collection.
Terrace of a Café at Night is currently on display in Japan (Kobe, Fukushima, and Tokyo). From September 2026 on, you can admire the painting at the Kröller-Müller Museum in Otterlo, where it normally is on display.
After the Van Gogh Museum, the Kröller-Müller Museum has the second-largest Van Gogh collection in the world, comprising 91 paintings and 180 drawings.
